RedArts has a long and vibrant history of championing creativity and community spirit.
The Redlands Arts Council has been a cornerstone of the arts community in Redlands for many years, fostering connection, culture, and celebration through the arts. Since its inception, this organization has played a vital role in shaping the cultural landscape of the region, contributing to the establishment of the Redland Art Gallery and supporting the development of the Redland Performing Arts Centre. Over the decades, Redlands Arts Australia has united people through various music events in Australia, including festivals, concerts, workshops, and exhibitions, such as a seniors’ photographic showcase honoring the early pioneers of Redlands. Signature events like the Light Art Festival, the Ukulele Festivals, and 'Classics Close Up' have become cherished highlights on the local calendar, alongside initiatives like Art by the Boardwalk and youth art grants that promote emerging talent. Through collaboration with schools, artists, and community groups, the Redlands Arts community continues to nurture creativity and preserve the region's rich artistic heritage, ensuring the spirit of local arts thrives for generations to come.
